Which color are you?

Okay so I know we are now in the Christmas season, and I have already done a post about Christmas.  I thought about sticking with Christmas posts this whole month, but I just felt like this idea from God was too cool to pass up.  As I sat and looked at the different color leaves falling to the ground, I thought about the colors.  There is green, yellow, orange, red and then brown.  As each color was in my yard, I thought about how they progressed and changed colors.  Isn't God so creative with the different fall colors? I want to ask you, "what color are you?" Are you green and going for Jesus? Excited and faithful to God?  Are you yellowed with yesterdays? Too concerned with what happened in the past that you can't focus on the present?  Are you orange with obsessions or obligations?  Too caught up in what you're doing to be completely focused on God? Are you red with rage? Angry over something you can't change?  Are you brown with brokenness or no beginning? Have you ever asked God for His salvation?

You see you can be all sorts of different colors... but the one that pleases God is green! Are you going for Jesus? Living and loving for and through Jesus is the only way to be completely satisfied.  God can clean up your yesterdays, wipe away your obsessions, fix your rage, and redeem you from no beginning. But it's up to you...you must ask Him to help you! And if you have no beginning because you have never trusted Him to be your Savior, you have to ask Him to be your Savior! Go green!


Matthew 7:7-"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" God's answer may not always be what you expect or want, but His plan is always perfect.

Isaiah 61:3- "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified."
